Open Gardens for Age UK

We’re looking forward to opening the Hoveton Hall Gardens for a very special day on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August in aid of Age UK Norfolk.  With 60 years experience dedicated to promoting and improving the wellbeing of older people, Age UK Norfolk is part of a network of local Age UK charities as well as the national Age UK charity who work together to improve the wellbeing of people in later life, helping to improve quality of live, promote independence and make lives fulfilling and enjoyable.

Did you know that Norfolk has nearly 25% of our population over the age of 65 compared to a national average of around 18%.  Age UK Norfolk can help with a number of services available ranging from information on Benefits, money matters, housing and care options to dementia services, telephone befriending and bereavement advice. So all profits from the day will go towards helping this great cause.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the blaze of late summer colour in the gardens, the cool green shade of the woodland walk and water gardens and be sure to watch out  for the amazing bird and wildlife that lives in and visits the gardens.  You can download our Gardens Information Sheet here.  Don’t forget to stop at the Tea Rooms before you leave for some homemade cake
